Ruby loves chips.
Because I actually fixed her hair.
It was LJ's first trip to Mount Graham. I think she is a fan.
Have you ever seen more manliness crammed into one picture?!!

Poor LJ. Ruby just loves you sooooo much!
So I got my kids this sprayer on clearance at Wal-Mart, because I figured they would love it more than any squirt gun I could get them. They insisted on taking it with us up the mountain and had a blast with it. Don't worry folks, it only has water in it. :)
Happy dance because they made it to the top.
Luke is crazy. Period. Do you see him up there? He wanted me to follow him on one of his made up hikes, and I was plain terrified the whole time. (I guess I'm more than a little afraid of heights.) He was basically climbing straight up the mountain the whole time we were there, except when he came down occasionally to eat. :)
Luke was very proud of his chocolate inside the marshmallow s'more.
Of course we couldn't last the whole evening without injury. Luckily it was just a little scrap that a band aid made all better.
The kids were in heaven using the squirter to put out the coals.
They even brought their firefighter jackets to fit the part. :)
Just as we were leaving it started pouring rain, and we enjoyed a beautiful ride home watching the far off lightning strikes. It definitely wasn't all easy, but it was worth it. Hopefully our summer will be full of a lot more evening just like this.
