My Grady Boy

Just a couple shots from this morning. As my husband likes to put it, this kid has a love affair with himself every morning in the mirror. :)

I tried to copy that cool picture on Pinterest (camera around neck while swinging kid by the arms). I am really disappointed that my super nice 5D Mark II doesn't have a continuous shooting self-timer like my little Rebel did. I got some that looked more like the photo I was trying to copy, but this one is my favorite. I love this kid's smile. I will have to try it again when the light is better.

Family Pictures!!!

In April my friend Erin Householder took our family pictures. She is awesome! Check her work out here Erin Householder Photography. I LOVE how well they turned out. We worked out a deal where she would take the pictures and I would edit them. I told here that I mostly wanted to get pictures of our whole family together. Scroll down to see my new canvases too!

I think I've been on a new product ordering kick lately. Well I really splurged and had our pictures printed on canvas. I ordered 4 16x24in. gallery wrap 1.5 in. stand out canvases from pixel2canvas.com. They were 50% off, but still a lot more expensive than prints. I am really really happy that I got them though. I decided to put a pattern border around them instead of the usual image wrap, and I really love that look. Now I just need matching throw pillows...

For Mother's Day I ordered a couple mini accordion albums through Miller's to give as gifts. I was really impressed with the quality.

Grandma's House

Last week we went up to my parent's house for a couple of days. Ty's Aunt LaSchelle died suddenly. She was only 53. We went up for her funeral. I stayed a few extra days with the kids to spend time with my family since all my siblings were up. Ty's Aunt was such a wonderful person. I am so glad that I was able to know her.
Every night Luke and Grady slept in this little tiny tent together in a spare bedroom. They were so cute in there together. I love this shot of Luke reading a book by flashlight in the tent. (I love my new camera for allowing me to take this shot at ISO 6400!- grain added in post).

We went to lunch at McDonalds and brought Ridge.

GG came by to give him his special present of popsicles.

GG took us for a golf cart ride.

The best present was by far the new bike!
